Certificates of attendance

Visa information
IATEFL is not able to provide any visa advice to our delegates. We recommend that you visit www.gov.uk/check-uk-visa to find out if you require a visa and which one is most appropriate for you.
Delegates who require an invitation letter in order to make visa arrangements should first make a conference booking online. Under the Personal Information section, tick the ‘invitation letter required’ box and fill in your passport number where indicated. Please ensure you have filled in your full name, postal address, nationality, passport number, and your email address carefully in the correct fields.
As invitation letters are sent out manually there may be a delay in receiving your letter during busy times, please allow up to two weeks from the time of your booking for your letter to arrive by email.
Please note that invitation letters are only for overseas delegates who require an invitation to assist with their travel visa application. Delegates who require a letter for their place of work to secure time off or funding should instead download an Employer justification letter.
Group bookings
It is not possible to make a group booking for the Conference, each member of your group must create their own unique user account at www.iatefl.org and book the event(s) they wish to attend.
Making payment for a group
If you wish to make payment for a group of people you should do this by bank transfer or with a debit/credit card over the telephone by calling +44 (0) 1795 591414. Each person from your group will be able to download their own invoice from their Dashboard once their booking is completed. You should reference these invoice numbers when making your payment. When making a bank transfer, please email these invoice numbers along with your remittance to [email protected].
It is also possible to pay onsite when you arrive at the venue. Onsite payments can be made in cash (GBP sterling only) or by credit/debit card. Please note, we do not accept American Express.
Onsite registration
If payment has been made
Each member of your group will need to visit the Registration Desk individually to collect their delegate badge, bag and Programme. They will be emailed instructions on when and where they need to do this.
If payment is being made onsite
You, as group leader, should visit the Registration Desk to make payment and collect the delegate badges of your group. We ask that you bring along a list of the names of the delegates you are paying for, or a copy of everyone's invoice for ease. It will then be your responsibility, as leader, to distribute the badges to the correct delegates. Once individuals have their own badges they will be able to collect their own delegate bags and Programmes.
