BESIG - Using Adverts in Language Teaching
In this webinar, we’ll explore how adverts – short, story-driven and culturally rich – can be powerful tools in language teaching. You’ll see how simple video narratives can be used to spark conversation, storytelling activities and critical thinking, with plenty of practical ideas you can take straight into your classes.
We’ll also look at how adverts work as marketing tools, making this session especially valuable for Business English teachers. Not only will you discover new ways to teach your students about advertising and branding, you’ll also pick up insights you can use to promote your own services more effectively.
Make sure you register timely as spaces are limited. Registration closes on Thursday, Sep 11, 2025 at 5pm UK time.
Please note: The workshop lasts 2 hours and will not be recorded.
