IATEFL Career Guides: 'How to teach online'

An IATEFL Career Guides webinar presented by Andy Johnson

An increasing number of teachers are moving into online teaching, particularly in light of current events and subsequent travel restrictions, but for many it still feels a bit daunting. In this presentation, you'll hear about three key areas:

1. The main differences between face-to-face and online teaching;

2. Strategies for delivering effective online lessons (both pedagogically and technologically), and;

3. Tips on becoming a successful online trainer.

Andy Johnson is the Director of London School Online, part of the wider London School Group. Working with clients, stakeholders and industry specialists, Andy is passionate about applying new technologies and ideas to produce bespoke training solutions and course delivery. He is particularly interested in generational theory, the rise self-directed learning, and how organisations adapt to the changing language training market and workplace.
