TEASIG: 'A MOOC in a time of Corona: language assessment literacy for teacher professional development'

This webinar shows how a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) has been used to provide assessment literacy opportunities for teachers during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic. The role of assessment literacy and aspects of course design will be considered in light of participants’ perspectives before and after the course.

Richard Spiby is a test development researcher with the British Council Assessment Research Group in London, working on the receptive skills components of tests, as well as assessment development and training projects worldwide. His areas of interest include language assessment literacy, test-taker strategies, test analysis and inclusivity in language assessment.
