BESIG: 'What do they REALLY want? Goals in conflict'

Conflict: an unavoidable nuisance or a chance to get things right in an organisation? Effective conflict resolution and constructive follow-up depend largely on how well we can recognise each side's goals - by no means an easy task. This practical session will focus on types of goals in confrontation and will include analysis of goals and needs to be addressed in example conflict situations.

Ania Kolbuszewska has worked internationally as a trainer, manager and educational consultant. She is also a mediator with a keen interest in conflict management theory. A former Eaquals Board member and Director of Eaquals Accreditation and Consultancy Services, she continues to work as an Eaquals inspector. Ania is a founder member of IATEFL Poland and a member of LAMSIG. She has spoken extensively on teaching, training and ELT management at international conferences.
