An LASIG webinar presented by Lucius Von Joo (Kanda and Ryustu Keizai University, Japan)

This is a practical webinar that will discuss online learning and app use for students and teachers. Because every educational situation is unique, this webinar will focus on:

  • Guidelines for choosing appropriate and safe tech
  • Multiple resources to turn to when in need

Lucius Von Joo writes a Tech Talk column for IATEFL’s LASiG newsletter, which focuses on digital literacy and language tools for both individual and classroom use. His primary research interests are computer-assisted learning, media literacy, learning approaches, learner autonomy, Funds of Knowledge, and families and communities as educators. He has taught deaf, elementary, tertiary, and EFL/ESL education in California, Japan, and New York and currently coordinates a Self Access Center.
