In the ever-evolving landscape of English as a Foreign Language (EFL) instruction, the integration of multimodal inputs has emerged as a transformative approach. Recognizing students diverse learning styles and preferences, this webinar seeks to explore the crucial role of multimodality in enhancing EFL pedagogy. Multimodal inputs, such as those derived from movies, offer a dynamic blend of visual and auditory stimuli, enriching language learning experiences and promoting a holistic understanding of linguistic nuances.
The integration of technology-mediated task-based language teaching (TBLT) is at the heart of this exploration. In today's digital age, technology acts as a catalyst, propelling language instruction into new dimensions. TBLT and technology engage learners and foster interactive and practical language use. This webinar will look at the synergies between multimodal inputs from movies and TBLT strategies, offering educators practical insights to design input-based tasks.Several possibilities lie at the intersection of multimodality, technology, and task-based language teaching. How can these synergies redefine EFL instruction in an era dominated by digital communication? Let's explore together.
