The mini course will run on the 27, 28 and 29 October from 09.00 – 11.00 (UK time) each day.

This IATEFL YLTSIG mini course is brought to you by eltonix. For six hours, you will explore how to use art in the primary English classroom to inspire and develop language, cognitive skills and creativity with your learners.

Session 1 – Exploring art

You will discover magical ways to look at, explore and exploit artworks to generate and practise language.

Session 2 –  Exploiting art

You will use images to inspire speaking and writing tasks in class that will engage your primary English learners.

Session 3 – Creating art

This session should speak to your inner artist and that of your learners! You will discover ways of creating art in the classroom with your learners to develop their creativity.
