MaWSIG: 'To be or not to be (tokenistic)'

Join IATEFL Materials Writing for a webinar on 'To be or not to be (tokenistic)' with the SIG Coordinator, Aleksandra Popovski.

This talk will expand on the ideas presented in the panel on Inclusive ELT materials: principles for design, selection and use during the IATEFL Global Get Together in April 2020. Alex will share her suggestions on how to avoid being tokenistic when writing, based on her experience developing inclusive materials and teaching ELT to a range of learners.

The talk will be followed by a Q&A session that will allow for discussion of tokenism.

This is the first in our #MeetMaWSIG webinar series, which provides opportunities to get to know the MaWSIG committee members and their areas of work within the field of ELT materials. Anyone can attend (for free), and everyone is welcome!
