  • The term for these volunteer positions is three years. Applicants should be fully paid up IATEFL ESOLSIG members for at least the past six months

IATEFL Learning Technologies Special Interest Group (LTSIG)

Positions available: Social media manager

  • When completing the form please ensure you either include your social media channels in your statement OR email [email protected] with an example promotional post for the forthcoming IATEFL LTSIG & IP&SENSIG joint event “Inclusion through Technology” adapted for different channels (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn)

Notes

  • The term for this volunteer position is three years from April 2021 – April 2024. Applicants should be fully paid up IATEFL LTSIG members for at least the past six months
  • If the committee member wishes to step down from the position they should give two months’ notice to the Coordinator and help induct the new person replacing them. Once elected, the committee member can re-apply for another three-year term subject to the rest of the committee vote.
  • Applications will be read blind by the Joint LTSIG Coordinators and other members of the committee, and will be assessed against the criteria set in the job description above
  • In the event of there being more than one candidate for a position, an election will be held electronically by IATEFL

IATEFL Testing, Evaluation & Assessment Special Interest Group (TEASIG)

Positions available: Coordinator, Webmaster and Events coordinator

  • Applicants should be fully paid up IATEFL TEASIG members for at least the past six months
  • Please note that those applying for the SIG Coordinator role should be nominated and seconded by two separate IATEFL members - applicants should complete the Application form and complete and return the Coordinators nomination form to [email protected]
  • Applications will be read blind by the TEASIG committee (as there is currently no Coordinator), and will be assessed against the criteria set in the job descriptions above

IATEFL Publications Committee (PubsCom)

Applications open: Monday 19 April 2021
Applications close: Friday 30 April 2021 at 17.00 UK time

Position available: Committee member

Notes

  • Must be a current individual member of IATEFL who has had membership with the association for one year or more
  • Applications will be read blind by the Publications Committee and will be assessed against the criteria set in the profile above
  • Shortlisted candidates may be required to do some hands-on editing before the final decision is made.
  • Successful candidates will be notified and invited to attend an online call with the current committee members (date to be decided) before meeting in person at the annual conference in Belfast in March 2022.
