Apply For The IATEFL PronSIG Scholarship

The purpose of this PronSIG scholarship is to encourage teachers interested in pronunciation to attend the PronSIG PCE and present at the IATEFL Conference.  It is hoped that as well as benefitting personally from this opportunity, the scholarship winner will subsequently be able to disseminate their experience to fellow professionals. As PronSIG has a fully inclusive ethos, teachers of any background and at any stage of their career are welcome to apply.

What you’ll receive:

  • registration for the PronSIG Pre-Conference Event 
  • registration for the IATEFL Conference
  • GBP 1000.00 towards your travel, accommodation and any other conference-related expenses
  • A session to present your research at a future/upcoming PronSIG event.
  • Support and mentoring to plan and complete your classroom-based action research project.
  • Support and mentoring to publish your findings in PronSIG’s biannual journal Speak Out!.

To qualify you must:

  • be an individual member of IATEFL and a member of PronSIG
    (Access to the scholarship is a benefit of membership, and as such, we cannot accept proposals from those who are not part of the SIG.)
