Brief summary of the SIG event

Join IATEFL Teacher Training & Education SIG for their 2022 Pre-Conference Event on 16 May.

TTEdSIG’s PCE in Belfast focuses on past and present trends in teacher education and training.

We cordially invite teacher trainers and educators from around the world as we look back on and forward to exciting topics within teacher training. 2022’s event features prominent members of our ELT community.

We have Kathleen Graves (Professor Emeritus, University of Michigan), Gabriela Kleckova (TESOL International Association President) and Thom Kiddle (Director at NILE) as plenary speakers.

Furthermore, Alex Warren (Senior ELT Academic Consultant, National Geographic Learning), Ben Beaumont (Head of Teacher Education, Trinity College London), Michael Hughes (former BALEAP Chair) and Kathleen Graves host a panel discussion on supporting new trainees. The day also includes audience participation with arranged activities to enable attendees to discuss their ideas.
