Wider Membership Scheme

The Wider Membership Scheme (WMS) is IATEFL's scheme to extend membership and co-operation around the world. In its first full year, 2000-2001, over 450 WMS memberships were issued in 11 countries.  Each year we invite our Associates to put in bids for memberships.  The deadline to return the bidding documents is at Associates' Day at conference each year.  Our WMS Advisory Committee meet in May to consider the bids and to allocate our available funds to support these subsidised memberships.  If your Association is based in a country that does not need this support we encourage you to donate to the scheme, to help us to help other Associates in less developed countries.
