Gill Sturtridge First-Time Speaker IATEFL Conference Scholarship

A conference scholarship for a first time presenter

This scholarship is awarded from the donations given by the family and friends of Gill Sturtridge. The purpose of this scholarship is to encourage members of IATEFL to give their first talk at an IATEFL Annual Conference.

The award consists of:

• a conference registration
• £600 towards conference-related expenses

• be an individual member of IATEFL who has not previously presented at the annual conference
• be a newcomer with between three and ten years' experience in ELT

To be considered you should submit:

• a 400-500 word summary on why you are applying for the scholarship
• a brief CV (2 sides A4 maximum)
• a passport size photograph (for inclusion in the conference programme if you win)
• a speaker proposal (please submit online) - Please note that your proposal must be submitted by the scholarship application deadline of 22nd August 2011.

The submission date is 22nd August 2011.  You will be informed about the award around the end of September.
