LT SIG Travel Grant
A travel fund to assist Learning Technologies SIG members in attending the conference.
All LT SIG members are eligible to apply for the grant although priority will be given to WMS country members. Candidates should be presenting for the LT SIG at the conference and be willing to write up their presentation for the SIG's newsletter.
To apply, you need:
- A one-page statement marked "Application for an LT SIG travel grant" indicating:
- your name, address, telephone and fax numbers, email address, and IATEFL membership number;
- how attending the IATEFL conference will benefit you and your ESL/EFL community;
- why you need this travel grant;
- a copy of the proposal you submitted for presentation at the International IATEFL Conference.
- A short recommendation letter by your director, supervisor or a colleague.

- be a fully paid-up individual member of IATEFL and a member of the LT SIG;
- submit your application and your speaker proposal form by the deadline of 17 September 2007.

The award consists of:
- £500 to help with conference-related expenses
To qualify you must:
- be a member of LTSIG
- submit a speaker proposal related to learning technologies
- agree to write up your presentation for publication in the SIG newsletter
- a one-page statement (not more than 400 words) explaining how attending the IATEFL conference will benefit you and your ESL/EFL cummunity
- a short recommendation letter by your director, supervisor or a colleague
- a passport size photograph (for inclusion in the conference programme should you win)
- a speaker proposal form (please submit online)
