International House Training and Development Scholarship
This aim of this scholarship, funded by International House, is to enable a teacher trainer/developer working in either private or state sector education to present his/her work to a wider audience by giving a presentation at the IATEFL annual conference. The trainer/developer should also be in a position to disseminate knowledge and skills from the conference back to the local workplace. You do not have to be a member of IATEFL to apply for this scholarship.
The award consists of:
- a conference registration
- £1000 towards long haul travel expenses
- a year's IATEFL membership
To qualify you must:
- be a teacher trainer/developer.
To be considered you should send electronically:
- an outline, between 200 and 300 words, of how you will share your conference learning experiences with your colleagues in your own country
- a brief curriculum vitae
- a passport sized photo (for inclusion in the conference programme if you win)

If you are not a member of IATEFL please complete the special speaker registration form downloadable from Scholarships page as you will not be able to submit onlien without a valid membership number. If you are the winner of this scholarship, a year's membership is paid for by the scholarship as all presenters must be members of IATEFL
