WMS Membership

WMS stands for the Wider Membership Scheme.  This scheme allows our Associates to put in bids for subsidised basic memberships for some of their members to purchase.  Each year an Advisory Committee consider the bids and allocate our available funds to ensure that we can continue 'Linking, developing and supporting English Language Teaching professionals worldwide'.  If you want more details on how this scheme works please contact Glenda Smart on This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. WMIS Membership

The WMIS (Wider Membership Individual Scheme) began in 2007.  We wanted to help individuals, in certain areas of the world, join IATEFL at a reduced rate and devised this scheme for people who live in countries where there are no local Teaching Associations.  We currently have members through this scheme in Cameroon, Ethiopia, Madagascar, Malawi, Rwanda,Senegal, Tunisia and Zimbabwe, .  For more details please contact Glenda Smart on This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
