47th Annual Conference and Exhibition

Join us in Liverpool to mix with leading thinkers in ELT, share ideas with colleagues from around the world and make new friends.
The ACC is a unique venue, situated near the River Mersey on the old docklands and is within walking distance of a wide range of hotels, restaurants and tourist attractions.
There will be five plenary speakers again for 2013.

Webinars
On 16th March 2013 we were very proud to offer two webinars prior to the conference. Bethany Cagnol facilitated the webinars 'How to get the most out of the conference' by Susan Barduhn and 'How to give a presentation at an international conference' by Catherine Walter which proved to be very popular. If you missed them they are still available here, and the presentations will still take place at conference as part of our 'How to ..' series. Susan Barduhn will be presenting at 8.15 on Tuesday 9th April and Catherine Walter at 8.15 on 11th April, both in the ACC.

Coach Tours
This year we have facilitated online pre-booking and payment of our coach tours, hoping that this will mean the queues for payment at conference will be less! If you wish to join one of the tours you must book and pay before arriving at conference through our online shop. We are offering two wonderful opportunities, one on Wednesday 10 April there a trip to Chester and on Thursday 11 April to Port Sunlight. Full details of both coach trips, including prices can be found in our online shop.
There are currently only 55 places available on each tour so make sure you guarantee your place by booking early. Please ensure that you bring with you a copy of your receipt as this will act as your ticket to board the coach.
Accommodation
It is possible to book your accommodation now, through our booking service. Please note that the Grand National is being held near Liverpool on Saturday 6th April, which will affect accommodation price and availability. Book early to ensure you have the best choice and get the best value.
