Institutional membership of IATEFL

The high standards expected from ELT institutions, demand highly trained, professional and motivated staff. IATEFL may contribute to the CPD (Continuing Professional Development) of the teachers of your organisation, by means of its activities and benefits.

Our membership benefits include the opportunity to buy journals, such as ELT Journal and the Annual Review of Applied Linguistics, at reduced prices, a copy of Conference Selections publication, three copies of IATEFL Voices – our newsletter – six issues per year, and the opportunity to join Special Interest Groups that focus on particular areas of ELT; at the moment there are 14 SIG to choose from. Membership also entitles four people from your institution to register for our events including our annual conference at the member's rate.

However, more than anything else, membership is a mark of involvement at the highest level of our profession. We aim to become larger and more international as we continue to build bridges across the diverse contexts and perspectives of the ELT world.
