How do I register?Pre-register  online at www.tesol-spain.org.Pre-registration for members is available from 1 October2014 to 21 February  2015.  Registration will also  be available  onsite  for both  members  and  non-members after this date at increased fees: On-site registration will begin at 15.00 on Friday 6 March 2015  This years theme: New Routes in ELT: From Inspiring to Empowering invites us to reflect on the ways in which our profession has been developing. For years we have been aiming at enabling our students to learn and communicate in English and recently at expanding their creativity as well. Now it is time to move forward and provide them with the means to manage and control their own learning experience and develop their own identity and personal strengths in order to achieve their goals. This new perspective not only empowers students to construct their own learning experience but also empowers the teacher to become a partner in the students learning. This makes the teaching and learning experience more challenging, flexible and rewarding. We welcome presentations which deal with creativity and innovation, critical thinking and problem solving, communication and cooperation, ICT literacy, bilingual education, as well as those which are of wide general interest for language teachers working in different sectors and with students of all ages. The proposal deadline is 31 October 31 2014.
